Mixes for the upcoming Diamond Head album are finally finished.
Phew.... Its done! It took some time to get the sound right for this record. The challenge of preserving the vintage sound of the band while presenting it in 2019 package with a slightly more modern edge was the toughest part of producing this album. It was paramount to preserve the integrity of what makes Diamond Head music so great in both the song writing and arranging and also in the mixes.
The album will now be taken to Metropolis Mastering Studio in Chiswick for some final magic by John Davis. The 2016 album "Diamond Head" was mastered there and the next one deserves the same diamond standard and I fully trust John to make this record shine.
Release date and more information will follow soon and I hope that the Diamond Head fans will find this record fitting nicely in with the their collection of the Diamond Head catalogue.
